Adult Guinea Pig
Has anyone seen this book? I had seen it on Amazon and put in a request for it at our local library for my 5 year old daughter - it is absolutely hilarious! All about a school guinea pig called Bert (what a fab name!) that goes missing whilst in Lola's care. Funniest bit for us was Lola's guinea pig ' exercise course' made from video cassettes and toys. It's a pity Bert lived by himself but he actually turns out to be a girl and has babies at the end!
A great book for anyone with children from about 4 years to 10yrs.
the other one we have is 'I love guinea pigs' by Dick King Smith. It is a good one too - the author obviously LOVES guinea pigs. He does say he has kept lots of different ones over the years but his favourites are the abbysynians (annoyingly he does not say why they are his favourites!)
