Yes, this morning I gave my 3 year old boars their first ever bath!

They were so smelly that even when the cage was clean, the room was still smelly and my husband was complaining. So we went for it.

I did Jack first and he was good as gold, didn't even mind the hairdryer. Charlie wasn't so good (he is usually the naughty one). He jumped out of the washing up bowl a couple of times and made a bid for freedom but we
got him done in the end.

They are now sulking in their cage but they definitely smell better.

It is a proud achievement when you complete your first piggy bath. Hope the boys dont sulk too long..

Well done for your achievement; get used to being Miss Unpopular for a day or so until all ruffled feathers have dried off...

Sulking is not restricted to males only - but they are usually very good at it!

AWWWW well done! It's a proud moment.

How's the fur now it's dry.

They look absolutely fine now and definitely smell a lot better! The sulking only lasted till feeding time of course, nothing gets between them and their dinner :)

I need another go at Charlie (the cream one) as he is still a bit mucky round the backside but I think it will need to be tackled in stages as he kept jumping out of the bowl and obviously didn't enjoy the experience much. He definitely looks better than before though, I think it's just because he's a pale colour that the muck shows more - like having a cream carpet on the stairs lol.
