I finally made my C+C pen

What do you think though? Its not very fancy is it?

Also Jack is still hiding in the cage (there is a ladder for him to get out like Jamie) and Jamie is hiding at the side of the cage they arent running about do they hate it?

From what i can see (the pics are huuuuggge) it looks ok. I'm sure the piggies dont mind!
 
the picture is huge! from what i can see maybe putting a 'plank' a flat bit of wood or plastic that is longer and not such a steep angle may encourage them out?

should guineas use a ladder? Its not something i'd be that happy about, they don't strike as being able to use one very well, and i would imagine there would be a risk of injury. My pickle is rubbish enough on her ramp.
 
love the c&c though. :)

is there a way of resizing your pics on photobucket so they post a little smaller? Or I've seen people post thumbnail pics (how thay managed that is beyond me... some clever peeps on here!)
 
new C&C cage

give them time to get use to it and it is a big change for them. it is nice and roomy for them and they should have plenty of fun in it.
to make thumbnails when you are making a post there is attach files and manage attachments, click on this and then upload pictures from your PC and hopefully they will be thumbnails. so someone told me yesterday, also in thread do you like the new forum luke said he would fix the size of the pictures tomorrow. hoping this has helped. :)p:)p:)p hoping your piggies get use to their cage, if not send it to me :(|):(|):(|) hugs,good luck:rose:rose

I think ive done it?

See its the old cage for them to sleep in its a 3ft by 2ft but the pen is much bigger. Its 4 grids by 4 grids

Ive popped a ramp on instead of ladder.

The boys were happier tonight they were jumping which ive never seen them do before probably didnt have the space and as I type I can hear them chatting.

I also discovered that when they have floor time they have fallen in love with a huge teddy bear in fact Jamie became quite cross when I tried to move it.

So they cuddled on his lap sooo cute will get some pics tomorrow.

and how dare you take jamie's teddy away pow-powpow-powpow-pow shame on you! just kidding so happy they have made a new friend in the form of a teddy, can't wait to see pictures!

Wow, nice cage, well done!

I would actually take the cage out of the C & C and just put the hidey houses into the C & C, it would give them a bit more room as well. You could add a tube for hiding as well, or even a cardboard shoebox with holes either side as a tunnel. Imagination - there are endless possibilities!

The cage can be used as a transport cage or hospital cage! Just an idea!
 
I agree with mackpossum, if you take the cage out of the c+c, they'll have more room to run around. Do put some pigloos or hidey houses in though so you are adhering to their need to hide. Apart from that it looks great and well done on making the big step to c+cs.
