mutton chops

On Thursday night I found Bubbleberry in her cage. I'm pretty sure she died in her sleep of old age because she was curled up in her cashew nut posistion.
I thought she was asleep at first when i found her. I thought it was very strange that she hadn't woke up, especially since i had veggies... I watched her for a while, trying to figure out if she was breathing... and really hoping she would wake up, but she didnt..

I feel really bad... I hadn't been spending as much time as i probably could of with her recently. I really really wish i had.. She was happy, and she had very nearly everything she could wish for, but i hadnt given her a really good cuddle in a while. I probably could have made time...
I was even going to give them a bath that day, but i went out in the snow instead...

It feels really empty and quiet in the piggie room now. Part of me still expects her to come up to the front of the cage when i go in there..

I love her so much. she really was a very special piggie. She helped me through a really tough part of my illness and was always there when i needed her. I will really miss her. R.I.P Bubbleberry, have fun in rainbow bridge with Furbie Xx

Aww so sorry Mary. It was just her time. It's natural to feel sad about it and to think maybe you could have done more for her. Don't beat yourself up. x

I'm so sorry to hear about Bubbleberry (I always loved her name); try to think of all the good times you had together, and remember that she was happy with you.

sorry to hear about bubbleberry, sounds as though she had a good life though, there are lots that don't. So don't feel guilty, she went to sleep and didn't wake up, I wish they could all go that way. She was very happy with her life it sounds. Sending hugs to you, I think you need them. RIP bubbleberry and run free with all the other guineas over the rainbow bridge.8...

Sleep tight Bubbleberry, what a beautiful girl and a lovely way to pass over to RB, in a place she felt safe, warm and loved. So sorry for your loss.

So sorry to hear about Bubbleberry. No doubt reunited with Furbie running free over the rainbow bridge. :0

Don't feel guilty about not spending enought time with your piggies. I lost one just over 2 weeks ago & felt exactly the same, but I hold onto the time I did spend with him & the joy he brought me. It's hard, but worth the memories. Plus I am sure he knows how much he was loved - by me & his brothers.

Hold onto the memories & beautiful pictures.

Hugs & squeaks from my manly trio - Jerry, Pippin & Legolas

It's only natural to wish we'd spent more time with them. When my lovely Walnut passed away I remember being so cross with myself for watching Eastenders the couple of nights before, rather than playing with him. Just remember that she felt safe and loved and passed away peacefully. R.I.P sweet Bubbleberry x x>>
