I've had a 2 year old coronet guinea pig, for a while, and he was recently introduced to my baby guinea pig, Nibbler.
The coronet will follow Nibbler, rumbling and strutting, but when Nibbler gets physical with him, the coronet lightly clicks his teeth.
The coronet never hurts Nibbler, but he gives him the clicking. This only happens a couple times a day, and they both get over it quickly. For the most part they seem affectionate to each other.
They've only been together a few days.
Will this behavior pass?
I have an extra cage just in case I need to separate them, but they seem fine.
Over 90% of the time they are quite happy together, and I would hate to separate them.
Advice?
