I have just brought home another piggy, this one has been at the RSPCA for a long time rehomed once then returned :'( as he was not good with other piggy :'(. The RSPCA tried to re bond him with others but to no avail so he was destined to be a homeless piggy. Then I came along and got chatting to one of the small animal workers and she said they had a special piggy needing a special home. We have been waiting for him for about 6 weeks and finally he is here :D :D His name is Dewy but that will be changed as I just dont like it. He has a huge chunk out of one ear and has been nibbled all around the other ::) He is 10 months old (estimated) and I think he is a Sheltie but you guys will be able to tell me if thats right ;) He is absolutely adorable :smitten:

Congratulations :D He sounds adorable. Cant wait to see pics. What are you going to do? have him on his own or try to bond him with another piggy?
 
Aww bless, looking forward to seeing him. If he is a Sheltie then what is it about them, they seem to be bruisers! :D Hope he settles for you!

The RSPCA people have stated they feel he would be best on his own (I was told this about 60 times ::)) he has apparently ripped the hair out of the head of other piggies and been taken back once so I will see how we go. At ten months he has been through a awful lot really but he can see and hear my piggies :) so that may be enough for him. He has already been standing at the door of his cage on his hind legs :smitten:
 
Well done, dazie - I have just adopted Pumpkin, a piggie with circumstances virtually the same as your new boy, and he will live in similar conditions.

Can't wait to see pics of your new addition! O0
