Just to let you all know that I had a stroke of luck earlier!
One of the mums at playgroup owns and runs a fruit and veg shop and twice weekly stall in town.
I was toying with the idea of asking her what she did with any left over veggies from the shop but felt too embaressed!
Their v organised people and I dont like to be seen as begging lol:red
Anyway we were at the same kiddies party yesterday and I plucked up the courage to ask!
She said she would be happy to let me have the left overs as theres always tons!
She said they were just saving it all up for the 'pig man' who comes in the week.
Now every morning at playgroup she gives me a big bag of fruit and veggies from the shop the night before
How cool is that8)
Why not ask your local shop what they do with their left overs?
It might just save you a bob or two
