Last Saturday Zach lost his brother and lifelong companion and has looked lost and lonely since. Normally in this situation I would've got him a little male friend, but as I've now got all Ellie's piggies living here with me, which has brought my total up to 26, I really don't want to be getting more, as it's going to compromise the care I give to the others. Therefore tonight, when I took Poppet to Simon to get her teeth done, I took Zach over too and discussed with Simon about getting him neutered. Simon checked him over thoroughly and says he's in great health so I've made the decision to go ahead and get him neutered tomorrow. I couldn't have a better and more experienced vet, but I still can't help but worry. I know Zach will love living with the girls, and he has so many groups of girls to choose from! I just hope i'm doing the right thing, but I couldn't leave him to live out a sad and lonely life.
 
Debbie I'm sure he will be fine in Simons capable hands bless him. I was worried sick when Murphy went in but he was fine and shocked me at how fast he got over it.

We will be thinking of him tomorrow and Niki's little man too x)
 
Aww good luck to Zack I'm sure he will be fine, will be thinking of him and Niki's boy tomorrow! x

LOL Debbie, i've been watching him like a hawk today, so far he's had a UTI & teeth problems :)):)) There's nothing wrong with him but every little noise he makes i'm "oh he's got......."
I've chewed all my nails, god knows how i'll sleep tonight!

Thanks everyone! Yes I think he's going to love living with girlies, but i'm not sure he will be thanking me later today though. Hopefully in a few weeks he will be though.

It's going to be a long day! Pacing floor already.
 
I'm sure Zach will be just fine and think how happy he will be very soon! waiting for news of him and Toddie x)

Zach will love you for it Debbie, really. His own harem of girls...what more could a guy want? Good luck today, let us know how he gets on.

He's home, looking really perky and eating non stop. He seems a bit nervous and jumpy but apart from that he's fine. I've had such a headache all day! Hopefully it will go now that I can stop worrying!

Aww, hopefully he will be himself in a few days, how long before he goes in with the ladies. He will be soooo happy.:);)

Well Zach is very happy and perky this morning. Got a call from vets to see how he was doing.

Pops has just gone for her run around the lounge and Zach was climbing up the bars of his cage, trying to get her attention, but she wasn't interested!
