Hey there guys...
Over the last 3 days, my guinea pig Koyo hasn't been right at all. He just sat in the corner of his cage looking depressed and eating very little...
Lastnight I noticed what looked like...pinky/whitish goo coming from the side of his eye.
I took him to the vets today, and they said it may be an infection so I've been given some eye drops to see how he does over the week. But I'm still worried as he still looks so depressed and still isn't eating properly...
Then the vet told me that if it doesn't clear up within a week, it's a sign of something more serious and that it may be a tumour.
I couldn't help but cry my eyes out at this moment, he then said to me the kindest thing to do would be to put Koyo to sleep as he most likely wouldn't survive an operation. 8...
He was fine up until the other day, I just don't get it!
I'm so scared, I don't want to have to put him to sleep...
I just don't know what to do to help Koyo feel better...I wish he would eat and drink...He's been eating a little bit, but should I syringe feed him to make sure he's getting enough?
Thank you for any advice anyone can give...
