I just bought a Nero 4 ... it's amazing ! SO excited !

I'm so excited - i have just put my piggies in their new Nero 4 and it is FAB !

They usually live outdoors, but as the weather has turned nasty we decided to bring them in. I put them in the indoor cage we used when we first had them - but they have obviously grown a lot ! The cage was FAR too small !

I started looking at alternative cages (on ebay) on hubby spotted the Nero 4 and decided the piggies HAD to have it ! Whoo hoo ! We bid far more than we planned to ! and collected it today ! It's hardly used and comes with the stand too.

Donut & Fritz are loving it ! and hubby & I are just working out what peice of furniture we can throw out so the cage can fit in !

OO getting carried away on ebay. doing just that myself on a new fish tank.

i hope your piggies love it! and I'm sure you will get to love having them indoors!
 
Yes - we are LOVING having them indoors! Another reason we have bought them in (as well as the weather) is because my son is 2-and-a-half and VERY interested in animals at the moment - so it is lovely for him to be so close to them. He chats to them all the time and takes his toys over to the cage to show them! They have only been in a week or so, and they are really starting to respond to him - it sometimes sounds like they are chatting back to him !:))
 
Aww i bet they are. tallulah loves to tell my OH off when he is in trouble is sooo funny! not had her near kiddies tho.

i bet its lovely to observe! maybe he will learn piggie talk!:))
 
I got my second Nero 4 from ebay...that was with a stand too! Ben and Dave love it! Ben was in it on his own for a while after he'd fallen out with Garry and Minty - he'd been in a Nero 2 for a couple of days as an emergency measure and he just loved the space!

Your son sounds soooooo cute!
 
ooohhhhhh i have just ordered a Nero 4 from pets at home. Can't wait till it get's here. What is the max amount of piggies it will fit? It looks huge
 
Ive got a nero 4 with stand the most Ive kept in there is two piggies for wintering in the house. It is a largish cage :))
 
I had a Nero 4 for my two - I wouldn't have kept any more piggies in it, but I agree it's a great cage, and you'll find it so easy to clean, with no awkward corners. And even better that you have a stand - I regretted not having one myself. Have fun .....
 
You know you are a piggy slave when their furniture is bigger than yours!:))
 
definately, i dont have a dining room table anymore as i wanted a c&c cage for them and there was nowhere to put it, so eating tea off our knees it has to be so the piggies can have lots of space!
 
I have some Nero 4's, they are really good. Lots of room to put play things and hidey things. Everytime I clean them out I replace stuff in a different way and they love exploring and popcorning all over them. xx
 
yes def love nero 4's wouldn't think that it could be for more than two though as by the time you fit in two bowls, two water bottles, two houses it seems to get smaller and smaller :)
 
Hopefully, as they get on better together, you can reduce down to one of each, possibly with the exception of the veggie bowls, and hidey holes, althoughmine still want the other's veg, so I am down to just one of those too! xx
 
yes getting better, were in playpen today (again containing two of everything) and I went upstairs for a minute came back and they were snuggled up in the same bed together! bless! I layed on the floor a minute enjoying the site before leaving them to it.
 
His ex playmates Sooty and Ginger are sleeping together in an upside down chocolate box tonight! It's so cute when they snuggle down together. Let's hope I can find them as good a home as Tiger has with you. Thanks. xx
 
I hope so too! Wish I could have taken them as well but no room as you saw! When I get a bigger house I will defintely think of getting another couple but will be a few years yet! :)
 
If she's a piggie who must be on her own (and I had one of those) then it will be a marvellous, spacious cage for her.
 
I've just put my two big boys into a Nero 4 (they were in a 1mX1m square indoor run) and they love it. There's been lots of popcorning and squeaking as they've explored their surroundings.

I need to restain (or something) the run for when they go outside in the summer so they're in a brand new cage for now. Eggnog is in a Nero 3 and The Colonel and Big Red are next to him in their Nero 4.

There's loads of space and the boys seem really happy in their new home.
