Hi everyone! Just home from a week at the cottage and couldn't wait to share a few pics of Leela and Tomie! Because we're very much in the country there, we don't have to worry about pesticides or contaminants and we can let the pigs out to eat the grass and enjoy the nice weather... this was Tomie's first time outside and we expected her to be nervous, but she seems to be a pretty bold piggy and she LOVED being outside... lots of squeaking and popcorning and general happiness ensured! And Leela was kind enough to let her snuggle up whenever there was a scary noise or anything that spooked her!

Aww, how cute! Love the size difference! Tomie is so little 😍. My piggies love the grass as well, but don't get out often because the summer temperatures here are awful, and the grass pretty much dies in winter.

My dad waters it for the pigs. Some summers our grass is all burnt too... though we've had a lot of rain this summer so far.

They get about two or three months when it's good to be outdoors... I'm in Ontario so there is nothing but below freezing and snow 6 months out of the year!
 
Aw what beautiful photos of your gorgeous girlies, they look like they are having such a nice time eating that delicious green grass 😊
