a massive thank you to everyone on the forum.^)

Since getting my first 2 pigs in October I've purchased several books but none of them have been as useful and informative as the people on the forum! I've found more information on here than anywhere else. :)

It has however given me pig envy of everyones little pigs i keep seeing and has encouraged me to get my other 3! (I don't think my poor OH appreciates this as much as I do!)

So thank you! :)

Bert, Ernie, Gizmo, Gadget & Rupert appreciate the advice too - It makes them happy when i read things on here and then do the same at home!

We started off with two boys then adopted two more and discovered the forum - we have 16 piggies now in total as the people on here gave me the confidence to rehome more (that's my excuse anyhow -c) :laluot_03:
We said we'd stop at six, then ten but the piggymania just continued :x

I want so many more!

My OH said that if i came home with any more piggies he'd move out! ?/
As tempting is that is I need him to look after the piggies while i'm at work. haha :)
 
same here. its a great place for any info and support, i would love to win the lottery and have my own animal shelter where i would take in unwanted smal pets, and then could pay people for the cleaning out and other duties ;)
 
My hub has said that from piggy #3 onwards... he is still there... :))

I think he might be bluffing anyway!

He pretends he doesnt like them but when he thinks i'm not there i hear him talking to them in the kitchen! :)) its quite sweet.

I think this happens to most of us...

I was only allowed 2 and now I have 4 althought I think my living room might be a little crowded if I expanded anymore...

Our first two just run around as they like. :) the youngest 3 have a large cage and run in the kitchen.
But i think i'd be able to sneak another cage in :))
 
my oh is like that with the cats, hes more of a dog person and moaned when i took out latest cat in as we already had 3, but he often strokes them and talks to them when he doesnt know that i can hear or see it! :))
 
I had 2 piggies, now ill have 5 and a rabbit and 5 hamsters ... why not welcome a few more, whats one extra mouth to feed!
 
Not sure if I dare bring anymore pets home for keeps. I have 3 dogs, 1 parrot, 5snakes, 2 tortoises, 2 bearded dragons, 2 crested geckos and my 2 guinea pigs. We've also had lots of other critters here because I foster for an animal shelter too. Not to mention the small creatures like hamsters/gerbils etc while our children were younger. And the cats before I got my parrot. The list goes on.....
When my hubby said he'd walk out if I came home with another animal I got a dog and offered to pack for him!
We've been married 31 years so I can only assume he can't find the suitcases! :p
 
Hehe, this forum is great indeed! I changed loads of things when I joined here, now my pigs live in a 6x2 C&C :)) !

I totally agree. My niece (whose piggies inspired me to rescue some) said recently to her mum that when I first got them they were able to tell me loads...now I'm constantly talking about guineas and all the ideas from the forum! You've made my niece redundant!
My guineas lives have improved with the things I've changed since being on the forum.
