I love lap time!

Every evening after my son is in bed, I get my girls out for lap time. I try and time it for when I'm watching something good on TV or a DVD so I can relax and enjoy lap time Tonight my girls were so relaxed, Saffy started washing my hand then nibbling it! Ginny always get comfy and half closes her eyes, resting her head on the side, she went one step further tonight and stretched a back leg right out behind her. It was sticking in my neck |) Love it x)

Ginny is pretty relaxed most of the time and at lap time relaxes so much she's almost comatose

|) Saffy can be quite nervy but does relax at lap time as all is calm and quiet! She's not keen on being around my son as he's noisy and makes sudden movements. I'm the only one who handles her, whereas I let my son have Ginny on his lap if I'm sat next to him. We all love our piggies, even hubby who wasn't fussed until he saw me having cuddles x)

It's been a huge lifestyle change for them, but if they are happy I've done my job right! They came from a pretty small indoor cage, rarely handled and don' think they were given much veg. They live outside with me in a 2 tier hutch, not huge as top floor is 4 x 2 but the run was extended so about 6 x 2 now (thanks hubby!) They are handled twice a day with floor and lap time, veg twice a day. I've tried to learn all things piggie so I can be a good mum for them and now I can see the rewards! They always make me chuckle and I now feel they trust me better. They are my special, little babies x)
