I am taking my mum to Leeds on Sunday to check out a little nervous ginger boy of about 6 months that is currently with Helen at Bramley.

Ooooh so excited, hope i dont shoplift whilst i am there! :red

Helen says he is really nervous and was part of a big rescue, but doesnt get on with other piggies.

He hasnt even got a name yet...awwwwww :(
 
Best of luck! I am sure that you will find a suitable name for him once you get to know him!
 
Aw, he sounds lovely and Helen's probably used to pigknappers ;) Just wear an oversized jacket with deep inside pockets - nobody will notice if you're quick :)
Can you bring him home the same day or will you have to go back to collect him ?

i dont know, its a long trip so hopefully we can bring him home, i hope Helen has seen enough of me on here to know we are not a bad piggy owner type family.
 
Only the potential anger of the OH prevented me pinching a few from Bramley...He didn't know about the pair of boars I was getting from Bramley but they are so big that he did spot them quite quicklyrolleyes. Goodluck for Sunday - hope it goes really well

Just do what I did last week, say you are fostering for a time and when OH meets them, know he'll give in. Worked for me and he's now out buying stuff to revamp our existing set up so the newbies are closer to our other piggies...:(|):x
 
oooh I'm so ready i cant wait, i think i am more excited than my mum and he will be hers!

Not so looking forward to the journey its a bit of a mad one and means no booze tonight but hey ho, Colin will be worth it.

hiiii awwwww he is just gorgeous we all love him already.

Had a great drive to Leeds, was back by 12.30, was a four hour round trip, but he is so worth it, he is really really beautiful and we absolutely adore him.

I will get some piccies, just give him a couple of days to settle in.
