Was bored so went to P@H for some excel herbage and as usual spend ages swooning over the piglets! there was a beautiful blond one with a white stripe right down the center of it's back. I think it is going to be long / semi long haired when it grows up too as had longish body hair and quite long head hair! x)

Well I was stood there thinking I wonder if I could get away with taking it home with me :)) I considered asking it's sex and everything!

I know, I know that buying them from pet shops is really bad but I was soo tempted!

Anyway I went through the whole thing of Paul would kill me and I would need to get two more not one, then i'd have 6 rolleyes ! I have nowhere else to put one unless I put it in the middle of the living room :)) All I kept thinking though was I've just bought some more C&C cubes so I could build a cage before paul got home and he would think it was cute after giving me a good telling off! Also he was mean to me think morning so felt like just saying that it was his present to me to say sorry!

Neadless to say I resisted temptation but it was so pretty and I really want to go back and get it x)
 
I am doing :)) Just had to vent a bit to stop me going to buy the cutee! That's it I'm not allowed to look at other piggies anymore! :))
 
My OH is starting to show signs of acute anxiety whenever I come near P@H and start up the computer in the morning... asking me whether we were still having the same number of guinea pigs rolleyes

But he's the first to peer into the piggy pen in p@h!

Well done for resisting temptation. It's so hard sometimes!
 
I too find that sooooo hard! Well done you, the problem is they are so cute and I always feel sorry for them all in p@h.

Problem I have is my hubby is so easy going he's just like 'yeah whatever - if it makes you happy'. That makes it worse!

You did so well to get out of there without a furry!
 
Just think about what your paying into, its enough to seaze all temptation then lol More demand is more breeding, by walking away you are helping :)
 
Glad to hear you resisted buying the piggy,My OH gets very nervous when i go near a petshop and not because he is worried about me buying them because i refuse to let myself give in but because after we leave he klnows he has to listen to an hour of how incorrect they care for them/dont care about them blah blah blah:))
 
Resist temptation. I know its hard. Buying piggies puts more into the pens from unscrupulous breeders for profit. This leads to more piggies being abused and left at rescue centres. Its a vicious circle which CAN be broken if no-one buys piggies from pet shops or breeders.

Be brave.

You see these little piggies, and I always imagine them going to some awful home where they are shoved in a small cage in the garden and forgotten about. It is so unfair, poor things. :(
