My hay :))... I got fed up of boxes of hay messing up everywere and taking up all the room.

Soooo.... I invested in these :(|), and hid the rest of the hay in my attic :red.

I will just refill my boxes... it's much better now. Hopefully my room will smell less like a barn too rolleyes.

Wow, that's impressive. Do you really have 6 different types of hay? Am beginning to think my piggies are hard done by. Don't anyone tell them... there'll be a mutiny. :p
 
i KNEW it! I knew it was gonna be about hay! Hahahahaha.

Thought it might have been a hay convention or a hay lecture you organised! ....can you get a phd in hay? :(|) :(|)

The top box is treats... :red... But saying that I have 2 types of hay in the one box... so Yes...

One box is also readigrass :))...

I admit it... I have a problem...

And I've ordered more hay rolleyes... :red!

You can never have enough hay just ask my piggies :))..

Were's the hay convention I want to go! :o

That is impressive, my girlies feel very jealous and want to come and stay at your house, but I keep telling them there's a big boy there who'd want to do dirty things to them :x so they have to stay with me and my not-so-extensive hay collection :(|)

So how much is in the attic then? :))
 
Very nice!

Mine fills up under the stairs and I have 22kg in the kitchen.

When's the hay convention? I'm coming too! :(|):(|)

It shall be smelling like a barn anytime now... but adleast my room looks cleaner.. thats the main thing! :)

MY piggies... don't think I have a problem, infact they keep saying they want more :{.
 
Your storage boxes are perfect!

I was thinking maybe moving the hay to a garage. It's flammable, and having it elsewhere but in the attic might be safer.

I particually like the storage boxes myself... I love pink and it was 6 for £10 in asda! Bargain!

I'm hoping the hay will be less messy now that it is organised!

Do you know in all the time I've been on the forum I still can't quote more than one person :)).

Lisa your more than welcome to come to the hay convention... I'm pretty positive you give everyone a run for there money when it comes to hay :)).

Aalur I find the hay gets everywere fingers crossed this will help and who's going to see the attic anyway lmao :))!

I think I need to come to the convention to I ordered Roger more hay yesterday, thank goodness for the bins I say :))
 
I got new hay racks today too... but they sit too high for the piggies on the mesh... So may try and change 2 panels in the hay loft...{:|

Going to get 2 more littertrays and hay loft is complete(Hopefull will stay nice and clean :))!
 
Great idea about storing the hay! I have a bag of readigrass and two part-bales of hay in duvet covers in my piggy room, but I realised over the weekend that there will be no room for the hay once I enlarge the cage. I might buy a couple of swing bins as they would be quite tall and I could decant quite big amounts of hay into them at any one time.

I've ordered more from animalmagic as well and that should arrive on Thursday...

hi, that idea looks fantastic, showed it my oh and he asked whether the hay would sweat in the boxes and if they would need ventilation, we are not sure as we keep an open bag in our front room, we have resigned that we now live in a zoo, can you tell we dont get many visitors lol.

Not the same I know but I have Rogers hay in a bin and it's been in there a few weeks and it's been fine so far.

I guess I shall find out it will be opened twice a day so that'll let air in when I'm topping up the hay!
 
Do they get all 6 different types of hay twice a day?? You are completely hay bonkers!
 
Do you mean MOCK the slave and i am pretty sure they are laughing at you when you walk out the door claiming you spend more on hay than you do on your own dinner lol

My pigs don't know how spoiled they are :))...
 
My boys would be very jealous. They'd also yell at me and tell me to buy them lots of hay, too!
