i think gorgeous is dying

she is 6. I think she is having a stroke or multiple fits she isn't moving and cant stand up there's nothing obvious wrong i have put her in a carrier with lots of hay ? is there anything i can do to make her comfortable?:0
 
I think she should see a vet asap there might be something the can do.....:(
 
If she's a cuddly pig, then hold her on your lap, maybe wrapping her in a towel for comfort. Just gently stroke her to sooth her. I lost Minty last week - got him to the vet's but he died while we were there. There were three of us with him, stroking him so he knew someone was there. If it is their time to go, they will.
 
Then leave her as quiet, warm and comfy as you can make her.

I'd just leave her as comfy as quiet as you can. Maybe try to call round a few vets, check the phone book and see if any have 24 hour emergency numbers, some do. There might be something they can do, if not to save her but to make her more comfortable.

When my pig Devlin was 7, she seemed really confused one night and was hunched up and I knew she was going to die that night. She wouldn't have been happy inside so I left her outside with her friends in her hutch with loads of hay, she was still eating and seemed happy enough, but I knew it was just her time. :(
 
I think I read somewhere, to put her in a dark, warm, quiet place (box/carrier), and let her be for a few hours.. it said just what you described, about the touching scaring her.. sending you healing vibes (((((((((((((((((((((((((((()))))))))))))))))))))))
 
Thank you everyone but around twentypast six gorgeous passed away very peacefully in my arms ,she had had some calpol so was in no pain,she is buried in a bed in a little wooden box in the garden R.I.P gorgeous x
 
so sorry to hear about gorgeous. at least she went peacefully, in your arms knowing that she was very much loved.
