Hi everybody,
So currently I have a Midwest Guinea pig cage for my two piggies and I’m finding that it just seems to small for them! My piggies are in my laundry room so we don’t have a huge amount of space but I was wondering if you guys would share some ideas on building c and c cages or share some pictures of your cage?
I was also wondering if a cage like this- could work for guinea pigs?

Hi, they need a lot more floor room, & cut down on the height, guinea pigs don't climb so That height is just wasted space

Hi, that cage is nice BUT I think your guinea pigs would need more room. The great thing about c & c cages is that you can have 2 floors without taking up much floor space. I personally don't have a c & c cage, my guinea pigs live in a one floor converted dog play pen, that is probably the height of two grids. Heres a pic. The layout has changed a bit now, as they have a tunnel underneath my bed and a bigger litterbox lol

the floor space looks fine to me in these picture, remember it square shaped, it looks less but i bet its not. The bigger the better, but that looks far bigger than the minimum cage size that is allowed

Right now I have a Midwest cage, and I’m thinking Mabey I’ll just connect another one or add a second level.

Connecting two would be a great idea or maybe just buying some cheap c & c grids and wrappig them around the Midwest cage, just to make a bigger area.
