I'm Soo happy!
I'm allowed to have 3 Guinea pigs.
Lol.
I was wondering if I go to a Rescue center and Find 3 Bonded boars, Will they still get along even if they have been moved into a different place with different smells.
I know it sound stupid but Will 3 boars even work out?
I'm sort of in love with boars.
The way the are sooo.. cuddley than sows and love human company.
I think it's because they are men tho. :D
Lol. We hardly have any men in the house [I'm not counting my dad and brother in as I don't think they are men... More of boys. ;D]
I'm so excited!
I'm hopefully gonna make a C&C cage.
I was wondering where you get correx from?
My mum saw this little set up in a pet shop [We were walking past].
It was a like indoor run type thing and Inside it had a like Wooden box looked a bit like a mini hutch.
It looked huge.
Could I buy that or some type of set up sort of like that?

Thanks!

3 boars could well be a bit of a handful for your first guinea pigs. Either 2 boars or 3 sows. You would also need a LOT of space for 3 boars to get along. I would definitely go to a good rescue where you can get good advice and support.

Correx you can buy from ebay or a sign maker if you have one locally. Alternatively, B&Q always have special offer signs made from correx, I've heard if you ask them nicely....

Not sure I understand what you mean by the hutch thing. It would depend how big it is.

maybe rescues near you would have 2 sows and a neutered boar? then you will have the best of both worlds, and its more likely to work out :)

It's like a Hiddy, but I think I'd get like a hutch and a ramp and Use that with the indoor run but I think a C&C would be a better option.

Yer, I'm just gonna keep my eyes open because I have to wait. If they do have something that pops up. I'm gonna grab at the opitunity.

As already mentioned, I would probably avoid the 3 boars scenario - it's difficult enough keeping two bonded a lot of the time! And although some have successfully managed to keep 3 together, I agree it would probably be for the more experienced human - it's hard to know how to deal with them if they fall out when you are new to it, and it's really stressful for you and the piggies!
We only have boars - it's harder for rescues to find homes for them and you will fall in love with them once you get them! :smitten:

There are tons of bonded boys looking for homes, so you'll probably find it fairly easy to find some, you're in Southampton aren't you? Wheek and Squeek are not too far and looking at her website she has some absolutley stunning pairs in...or Southampton Rabbit Rescue who also rehome piggies.

My two boars were hard work when i first got them but 7 weeks in and they are fine now. Wasn't easy. I'd go for the 2 boars or 2 sows and 1 boar option. My boars and neutured and they get in the run with my 4 sows. no fights which is great. Just see what rescues are in your area and even ask on here. am sure you'll be happy with any piggie you get. xx

wow 3 pigs! You're lucky :) So your mum seems to be into the idea now ;D I'd get a boar and 2 sows, that's usually a good set up. I know boars have great personalities, and usually are cuddly but don't underestimate the sows! Some of my sows will quite happily kip on me for 20 mins and are very friendly. It's true there are lots of boys in rescues though :)
