I'm going to lose Tansy...

Can I ask you to send any good thoughts and love you can spare to my little Tansy pig as she is very, very poorly this evening.
Tansy is an old rescue girl who has been with me several years, not sure of her exact age but we know that she is about 5 years old. She is receiving antibiotics, but is slipping quietly and gently from me.

She is settled and peaceful in her chalet, her little head resting on the window edge. Toffee her partner is beside her keeping her warm.

I'm so sorry, I hope she some how pulls through. You can do it Tansy :'(

Atleast she is going quietly, peacefully and not in pain.
 
oh Barbara I am so very sorry to hear about Tansy, hope its a peaceful end for her, and you need to go and relax have some Rescue remedys as you already know whats about to happen try to ease the upset a little with the remedys if you can, thinking of you both :'(

Thank you everyone, I really appreciate your kind words. I've just take a little peek in the chalet and she is asleep with Toffee snuggled right up to her. I think what is so upsetting is that Toffee is getting frail himself and he is devoted to her. He is a little old man pig.

Yes Michelle, I am taking my Rescue Remedy and I'm going to add some to their water bottle. Tansy isn't drinking and I'm not going to try and syringe it into her at this stage of the game. But the remedies will hopefully help Toffee.

awww hope Toffee copes alright they sound a real old couple, glad you are on your rescue remedys and fingers crossed they help the old man as well, keep us updated :-* for Tansy :-* for toffee :-* for you you will be needing it
 
Nothing i say would make any difference and at least she is in your capable hands and has been surrounded by your love

Hello everyone,
Just to let you all know that Tansy passed peacefully and gently (the way she had lived) at approx 10.30pm last night.
Near to Toffee and on a bed of soft fresh meadow hay.
Thank you to everyone who sent their love and thoughts, I sincerely believe that they helped her, and me.

Below is a pic of Tansy taken only a couple of weeks ago (she loved her chalet). Her tatty little ears were a result of the over crowding and lack of food in her previous home.

I'm going to keep busy today with the new boy "Betsy"...poor little soul, he needs some love too.
I have a rescue girl here called Beatrice, she is quarantined, petite and gentle, so I hope she will bond with Toffee, who is looking rather lost this morning. I'll let you know how things go.

RIP little Tansy you'll be sadly missed what a little cutie pie you were, run free at the Bridge and eat
all the fresh grass you can. Hey say hi to Sully he'll look after you i'm sure.
