I'm in a dilemma

After losing Bramble at the weekend Twizzie has been very down. He is not a happy piggie at all, so it leaves me with a problem.

Either I have to rehome twizzie to someone who can pair him up, which I really dont want to do as he is really special because he is a skinny carrier and I dont want to risk him getting into the wrong hands (not that anyone on here would be wrong of course) but I lost him mum earlier this year and he is just like her.

So this leaves me with trying to find him a friend. Unfortunately I dont have any other boars that I can pair him up with, otherwise I would do that.

I'm not sure what way to go on this. We really didnt want anymore piggies but I cant bear to see Twizzie so down.

Dilemma ? ? ?
 
You do have a very hard decision to make there then dont you ?

Well, as hell be lonely is there a chance you could bond him with any sows if you have any and get him neutered ? :)

I would personally get him a buddy and i totally agree with pairing them up with at least one friend just like all my piggies have a friend or 2 ;D

Getting him neutered isnt really an option. After losing Harvey our rabbit a while back I'm a bit reluctant to get a guinea pig done. Plus I would have to find another vet to do him as mine wont do guinea pigs.

His cage isnt really big enough for 3 and I dont have space for a bigger cage in the shed.

Think I'm gonna look through the rescue list and see if there is anything suitable. At least I can try and find another piggy that needs a home rather than going to the pet shops.
 
yeah i agree and i dont really believe in neutering either :-\ but good luck on finding him a friend :smitten:
 
Thanks guys. Just been looking through the rescue section but everything is too far away or not the right age. Twizzie is only a year old so am trying to find one the same age or a little younger.

Will keep you posted.
