I just went down to the playroom and saw Jack curled up in his bed, with his eyes shut. He practically never closes his eyes so I was a bit worried. I put my hand in and stroked him, and he didn't move :...

I couldn't really yank him out of the bed (he has one of those ones that looks like a little sleeping bag) so I ended up turning it over and shaking him out :)) I ended up with an annoyed looking piggy who had obviously just been woken from a deep sleep, but also obviously in perfect health! He wouldn't let me pick him up to check him over (don't blame him) but he looks perfectly fine :)

phew! better had a healthy disgruntled pig than a happy dead one, I guess, at this stage, right?

lol.....poor Jack .....I'm afraid I would have probably done the same thing though ....after all you couldnt leave him sleeping thinking there was something wrong with him :))

I just wish I could explain and apologise!

There is a whole lot of wheeking going on now, I might have to give them an early dinner to make it up to them.

Maybe it was a ruse to get dinner early. They are much more intelligent and devious than we think.:)):))

I think it's really scary when they lie there lifeless! I took Pixie Pig to the vets last Wednesday, and there was absolutely nothing at all wrong with her! So at least your worry did not cost you £16 and a waste of petrol! X PS Is obviously fantastic there's nothing wrong!

:)) Just imagine if your loved ones tipped you out of bed because you had your eyes closed :)):)):))

I am sure he will forgive you after some tasty nibbles :))

I told my kids about it and my 10 year old son agreed he'd be grumpy too if I tipped him out of bed at night. My 7 year old daughter said she probably wouldn't even wake up (she's a sound sleeper, bless her!).

Jack has now forgiven me now that he has had a hefty portion of cucumber and baby sweetcorn. I'm glad he's OK but I am getting paranoid about his health now he is over 4 years old :{
