I lost Dippy last Friday, he didn't survive his abscess operation.

He was such a sweet, gentle and adorable piggy and only lived for 1.5 years, but the last few weeks were his happiest I believe as he spend them with his friend called Yoshi. He was always quiet shy but when Yoshi arrived he really got out of his shell, was exploring with him, wheeking for veggies with him and popcorning with him. I think Yoshi is missing him, too.

Just as we burried him the sun came out after a short thunderstorm, I think it was Dippy saying goodbye to us. He lies under the haselnut tree on the field behind our garden. I will plant some forget me nots for him.

I have made this picture for him, I am gonna hang it up on our wall in the living room.

Oh Anne, I am so sorry for your loss, especially as he was so young. How lovely that the sun came out - Dippy saying goodbye to you. I am sure he appreciates the wonderful care you took of him. R.I.P little guy x
 
He was so beautiful, his memorial picture is lovely. I am sorry you lost him.

I am so sorry for sweet Dippy. It is always so hard to lose a young piggy, and he looks and sounds absolutely delightful! What a heartbreak!

I have lost one of mine after a abscess operation. It was a frightening experience. I've also planted forget-me-nots on Mischief's grave, and they self-seed happily.

With a BIG HUG for you, Anne, and a cuddle for poor Yoshi

So Sorry to hear he did not make it, you gave him the best gift of a friend for his last few weeks and he would have loved that. Of course he will be missed by Yoshi and yourself, but yo gave him a nice resting place :)p 8...

I'm so sorry to hear that you lost him. He was beautiful. I know he is in piggie heaven with my Patchy. They will run free and eat and popcorn all they want. ♥
