Inca (aka: Mr Guinea Piggy) passed away yesterday. He was six years old. I guess he passed of old age. He was very much loved and will defiently be missed by his mum and dad and his brothers and sisters, especially his close mate Fergus (aka: Piggy). I watched him take his last breaths, then we buried him. I got him six years ago as a friend for a piggy i had then (whom we thought was male), when we realised he was actually a she, it was too late, Lily gave birth but didnt open the sack and the babies died, we tried one more time, same thing. So we kept them separated. Then Lily died a couple of years ago from a tumour in her stomach. She was a beautiful piggy. I got her from my sister who was told she was buying a male but was actually a female and one day came out and there were balls of fur hanging all around her! The three babies were all black except Lily had a white spot on her back. Her mother died some days later so i got Lily. About a year after Lily died i decided to get a friend for Inca, I adopted two boys from a shelter, Fergus and Fizz, two beautiful boys! Unfortunately Fizz died not long after, i'm not sure what of, he was only 2 years old. So now i have Fergus left, i'll be adopting him a friend soon, cuz i dont want him to stay alone!

So sorry to hear about the losses of all your piggies. 8...8...8...

At 6 years old it probably was old age, but he was obviously well loved in his life. I have been with most of my guineas at the end & as hard as it is, I always like to think they aren't alone.

Know that they will have all been reunited over the rainbow bridge & that they will be OK.

Good luck finding a friend for Fergus but make sure it is the right friend for him - he deserves it. Until then give him lots of love & cuddles.

Hugs & squeaks from my manly quintet
