After the two awful summers we've had I'm thinking about keeping my two GPs indoors all year (except when they're out in the garden in the run) - it seems better than keeping having to bring them in because it's so WET. I'd like to get a bigger indoor cage and I keep looking at the Nero 4 in my local Pets at Home. Can anyone recommend this cage? I've looked at various others online but the Nero 4 is the only one I've actually seen in a shop. All comments welcome.

I have a Nero 4 in my living room for my two girls, as well as a Nero 3 for Basil who prefers living on his own. I don't use the little house thingy that came with them, as it seems to take up a lot of space, although it does give them the extra level to stand on where their food bowl is. Others may disagree, but I do find the Nero 4 is quite big enough for them to race around if they want, be together, or spend time at opposite ends of the cage. They have a hay ball in the cage.

I know a lot of people have the C & C, but as I said I've found the Nero cages good, and they are very easy to clean - also you can use the wire tops to put out on the grass for them while you are cleaning the base.

Oh yes, and I believe it comes with a stand so the cage doesn't have to be on ground level, although I have mine on the floor.

Hello,

I have bought both of my cages fromhttp://www.zooplus.co.uk.

They have lots of choice and their cages a spacious and great value for money, much cheaper then Pets at home. They are easy to clean and my piggies love them!;)

I love the Nero cages too especially the Nero 3 and Nero 4. I would like a Nero 4 but haven't the room inside at the moment so Iggy is in a Nero 3 on a stand and Nemo is in a cage I got from Zooplus for £26 think it was the rabbit 100 or something.:{ I do prefer the Nero cages though to the Zooplus one - it doesn't seem as strong although it is wider than the Nero 3. The stands come separate though and are about £27.:(

I know what you mean about not having enough space - with the Nero 3 and the Nero 4 on the floor in my living room, there's very little room left for OH and me.
