can you all tell me about your indoor playpens for your guinea pigs please?

it's cold out today and i think it's going to be not very long before the boys can't go out.

i don't want to spend a huge amount and want something that is foldable or collapsible

what do you have?

The grids that people use to make c&c cages are good for making a pen and can just come apart when your not using them :) Then you can just put a sheet or something on the floor with towels incase of accidents.... this is what ill be doing i think :)

you know what? i have just ordered one! after all that!

i went outside to set the run up and it is really cold so i thought i'd better crack on!

it's seems quite spacious and yu can put it against a wall to make it even bigger.

I've got 2 of these joined together
http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/rodents/cages/pens_fencing/pens_with_racks/14543

But they now have to be carefully supervised in it as the little Wotsits have discovered they have the power to haul their not inconsiderable butts over the fence and make a break for it!

OH is in the process of building me one from hinged perspex which will hopefully be more secure... until they learn to make wall climbing suckers or cut a hole in it anyway!

oh i was looking at them but i didn't think the the sides would be tall enough-they can stretch quite high despite being babies! damn-maybe i should jhave gone for that..

anyway-tis done and the one i got looks big and can be used outdoors too

That's the one I've got - and mine escape from it too! Mine don't jump over it though - Daisy has worked out that if she shuffs her nose underneath the connections they can come out and she can make a run for it. I'm going to buy them another one to connect together to make it bigger as it's not too big.
