Here is the new liitle fella for my herd.

He is an Aby cross and Cia has decided to call him Darwin...he is a cage buddy for Snickers and definitely my last one!

He is also the brother to Shellza's new addition.

Ahhh, I was considering getting him when I was there ;). So cute. Hows he settling in?

Seems to be settling in fine...managed to escape out if the play area earlier...took me ages to catch him again...he did not want to be caught lol!

Looks like a lovely Peruvian to me! :)

Bloke in the shop said he was an Aby...but since he didn't even give me a proper carrier to bring him home in I'm prepared for him to be something other lol.

He doesn't seem to recognise "proper" food either.

Awww he is so handsome! And looks very cuddley, hope he's settling in well and enjoying his new home :))

I've had my first few wheeks from my little one today, for no apparent reason :))
He's getting so confident already and doesn't run away when I put my hand up to him. My girls still do and I've had them a year now rolleyes. I hope Darwin and Snickers become the best of buddies soon :)

They seem to be getting on fine...they are sharing the house and taking it in turns at the hay rack and Darwin has been talking to Cadbury and Bugsy in their cage.

I've just bought C and B a pigloo...I don't think they like it because they can't stand on top of it lol!

He's rather handsome! My black and White boar is called Darwin too :) but he's named after Charles Darwin, his brother is called Wallace

He is adorable, so pleased you took him in.

The shop I got him in is a bit grotty...and the piggies are kept in with bunnies, they don't have any hideys or toys and the food doesn't look the best either. The guy that sold him me didn't ask if I already had guineas, didn't offer any care advice and also didn't have pet carriers to bring him home in...he put him
in an old phone box that really was too small for him.

When I got him home I put some boundaries up and pretty much gave him the whole living room to explore...he was running round like a mad thing with all the space and he seems to like his cage and he and Snickers are snuggled up together in the house.

Peace reigns in the Barnett herd lol!

adorable! he looks like the male version of my aby girl blossom (middle one in my avatar) :)

Oh poor little thing, that is appalling and not even having proper carriers is just wrong. He must be so happy now that he has a lovely home and a friend :)

He does seem happier...I haven't seen it but Ciaran said he was popcorning earlier, and he seems to have got the hang of "food" and "where food is", but still very timid but we will get there.
