Hello again,
My last forum post explains all of my sweet Pams medical problems. But a quick summary, she had upper respiratory disease, pneumonia about a month ago, and then just barley had a GI problem. The vet said her breathing and everything was good the last time we went.

As of right now Pam is a solo guinea pig, and I know they aren’t supposed to be alone. I have planned to introduce her to two new guinea pigs in the future, a mom and daughter. The vet said in 2 weeks since our last visit it would be okay to introduce her to them. I’m obviously not a vet but I just wanted to make sure it would be okay for Pam to be with them that soon? I would feel awful if Pam got them sick.

Thank you all again for all the helpful advice:)

Once a vet has given a clear bill of health then you should be ok. You could always wait a little longer to be doubly sure.

However, you do need to be aware that adding a single piggy such as yours to an already bonded pair (the mother and daughter) can be problematic. It can be very tricky to get a mother in a bonded pair to accept a single sow. The bottom link below explains. By all means go ahead and try the bonding, but do be prepared for what to do with your single piggy if it doesn’t work.
