Is kiln dried pine safe to chew on?

Hi
Is kiln dried pine safe to be chewed on?
I just got a hammock stand made of kiln dried pine and my boys were chewing on it when I gave it to them for a short time.

Hi I wouldn’t recommend giving it to them it can be harmful

Kiln dried pine is, as far as I’m aware, safe for use with piggies.
