Hello all, this is my first thread.
I am worried for one of my new guinea pigs, as she has been making hissing noises (It may be a sneeze) every so often. I am not sure if this is normal but I don't know if it is from aggression as she doesn't know I am in the room with her. She also has some very small areas of hair loss and a small cut. This includes other tiny scratches/dots of red. I am not sure if it is mites or bites from the other guinea pig. I also was wondering how I could cope with this as the recent pandemic means it is very hard to see the vet. Is there any medication recommended? When I first got her her eye was closing slightly but it has been a few days and isn't closing anymore. Should I be worried?

Something is definitely not right but you need to figure out what the problem is before attempting to treat anything. I would try and see the vet, some vets are doing telephone/video call consultations and others are arranging to collect pets from the car park for the vet to see them without you present.

Welcome to the forum.
I agree with @Lady Kelly .
Your girl does sound as if she needs to see a vet.
It will put your mind at ease and if there is something amiss it can be treated.
Let us know how things go

Thank you so much. I will definitely try getting her to the vet or a call. I will update soon
