I have just separated off a little partition for my baby boar, so he can still see my three sows. He's only been separated about 4 hours, and he isn't panicking, but he is chewing at the wire on and off and isn't as chirpy as usual. I wondered what other people's experiences of doing this had been? and whether the babies settle on their own or if they always stay a bit miserable? :(

He will be neutured - but not for at least 2 1/2 months...

Thanks!
xx

I don't have any experience of this but I'm sure he will settle more given time. Some people put a soft toy in for the baby to snuggle into... maybe that would help. Just make sure it doesn't haven't any parts he could swallow/ choke on. A newborn's soft toy is ideal. :)

The soft toy is a good idea, It worked well when I had to take Hopes baby boy out, It was suggested to me that I put the teddy in with mum first so it gets her smell, It worked really well and baby was happy :)
