My Fudge has always done it with his tomatoes, personally I find it hilarious to watch.

Tomatoes are his fave food but he’s very apprehensive about approaching them, first he gets into position about 20cm away from the tomato, pauses, kicks out one of his front legs and moves forward, does more kicking and approaches again up until he reaches the tomato, then he dribbles it backwards, depending on his skill of that day he’ll dribble it backwards about 10cm then begin eating. This routine usually takes him at least a minute.

One day he rolled his tomato out of view and couldn’t find it again.

I saw my other rodent doing it the other day too, what’s it all about?

Can’t understand it myself.
