Random-ness, but as Fredo is so shy I have been encouraging him with food! It was hilarious he is very familiar with the snatch and scamble approach, so I decided that if he wanted it he couldn't run away with it! He kept pulling rather than eating it and it basically turned into a game of Tug O war!

I obviously was not pulling on the food just had it firmly in my grasp so he couldn't snatch it and run! rolleyes

I have been playing that off and on with Llewelyn who loves his snatch-and-run! It is fun, isn't it?

It is hilarious! I was worried he may hurt himself cause he was pulling that hard he then went in a strop and starting headbutting the cushion! It wasn't as if I wasn't giving him the the food. He's just a bit dense and didn't realise he could eat it LOL! :))

Recording him tonight! It is so funny!

I didn't give him his veggies this morning as I slept in... He will be in for a nasty surprise too find none... but means more fun for me tonight! :))

Someone's in trouuuubbllllllllleee! ;):(|)

Thankfully Fred isn't huffy, he just accepts what he's given hehe! I'm sure he will be rather upset though...!

First time, I've ever not gave him veg in the morning... Poor fella, won't Know whats happened! :o

I'm sure all will be forgiven as soon as he's presented with extra servings!

My Frankie plays the tug-o-war games too, he completely refuses to let anyone hold his food for him. To the point he will not eat the food if you don't let go. But he is a weird character. :))

He will appreciate it even more this afternoon then. :)

i might have to try that lol - I have huffy piggys tonight too - i gve them a large portion of veg this morning so i ran out tonight. They just had apple and celery - they looked at it as if to say "you are joking - is that it?"
as i walked away they were still waiting by the bars as if they were thinking "she cant seriously just be giving us this?"

I felt really bad :x

Guinea pigs have no problem conveying their feelings on a certain subject, haven't they? :)):)):))

no they certainly dont. Needless to say i dont think they were very impressed! rolleyes

I just gave him some carrot and ran but he got all his veggies tonight and he ate them on my lap like the good boy he is..... Progress! I think he is getting less shy around me... kinda!

I think whoever had Fred previously didn't give him much attention and thats why he is so Timid and shy, don't know how anybody couldn't spoil him he is the most gorgeous piggie ever! x)x)x)x)x)

He seems determined to jump off my couch though so I will have to be keeping a close eye on him from now on! You'd think he would realise he can't be jumping off heights, but then again thats piggies for you!

Chris likes to play tug o war with furby, cottonbud just eats she does not care enough to fight when she could be eating!

Cottonbud clearly has the right idea lol! Fred had me in stitches it was so funny to watch I must record it, sometime soon!

Any new baby pig I've ever had does that with grass when they go on it for the first time... they just expect it to come loose and don't think to just nibble it down! :D

Although, I do have fun playing the tug of war game with some of the more boisterous boys in my Mum's brood who don't get stroppy after a few seconds!
