we have had our lil piggie for almost a year. ( it will be 1 year at the end of april ) We got her from a petstore and they said she was about 2 or 3 mo old roughly. But she is so tiny. I have 5 other friends who have guinea pigs. And we have piggy play dates. And she is the smallest out of all of them. They are giant compaired to her.

this is the most resent picture i have ( Just to let everyone know. I was out of town and my brother in law was watching my pets. He didn't know that they shouldn't play together. )

I think she's just a smaller guinea pig! Whether that's due to her genes, or her care before you got her, she's just a smaller, perfectly formed pig. She.Is.Beautiful! x) As is your/your brother's chinchilla! What a cute picture that is!

We've had some pretty mahoosive pigs (my two abbys are pretty chunky but we also had some big (1.5kilo) boys in my last 'family'. We had a couple of litters when I was about 14/15, kept them all, and we had one teensy girl. Possibly a runt, but she wasn't exactly small when she was born, she just ended up being about 3/4 the size of her brothers and cousins!

I've had one named Nibbles, who was tiny! I had a 3 month old baby piggy that was bigger than her! Some piggies are just like that. :)

I'd say she's just little too, and very cute :)

If young guinea pigs have babies, and they have babies young, for a few generations, the babies could be very small and never get too big. And ones from pet shops are often like that.
