HELPP 😫😫 I got a shock when I saw this while they were having playtime. My queerie is two things: First is the urine colour : It might be blood, but I fed them 3 leaves of chard which is known to be red like beetroot as part of their meal today and that mightve caused it. I changed their diet before from a previous problem, now they eat (1 adequate slice of pepper each, 1 cherry tomato each, half a thin slice of cucumber every day, 2 red leaf lettuce as an alternative to romaine?) all in one day and I think each guineapig gets 30/40g of vegetables a day. I hope that isn't bad. I know they're drinking well now, out of a ceramic bowl.
Second thing: Their small poop, it might be from the low amount of vegetables I fed them in the meal (half an adequate slice of pepper each, 3 chard leaves each and half a red leaf lettuce) I'm trying to reduce excess calcium so I've limited their lettuce by 2 per day. I checked their weight just now and they're both 1.1kg which I think is overweight. The internet pages are telling me to feed them more but I don't know what to feed them and scared I will increase their excess calcium. Thank you for reading this, and hope my piggies are alright15697770554344081840901577585995.jpg15697770554344081840901577585995.jpg

Difficult to say, it doesnt look particularly like blood in the urine- are any of them in discomfort when they pee? If you are at all worried pop them along to the vet, the vet can use a urine test strip to confirm if any blood is present.
The veg you are giving sounds ok but tomatoes should not be fed daily. Also most lettuces are not high in calcium, it is kale, spinach and parsley that are high calcium leaves. Why not add some coriander to their diet for a bit of variety?
Hay is the most important food, if poops are small I would perhaps worry most about hay intake, do they have unlimited hay?

I would take out any red veggies and see what the wee is like tomorrow. Red chard has been one that has caused mine to have pink wee's previously though the yellow stem chard obviously didn't

I haven't seen them feel uncomfort when pooping or peeing, but when I try to hold them they won't let me, they run into their hidey rlly fast like I'm a predator. I will ask my parents if they can go to the vets. Also yes, I have been feeding them Spinach the previous days (5-7 leaves each) . I will stop feeding them spinach for some time. How much and how often should parcely be fed? Also, they have unlimited hay so I dunno if they aren't feeling the type of hay. OMG I JUST REALISED : They ate a chunk of cardboard but it was like with printer ink. I'm not sure but i think that's bad for them. I'll try to get this sorted asap I love them too much. Thank you for helping I think this has taught me another lesson.

You're right, I should try that :') thank you for helping

I keep thinking Dot has red stained urine on her belly area, but when I wipe it up, its yellow. She does have intertestial cystitis though, so does pee bloody pee sometimes

Nothing to add about the urine but I will say that 1.1kg doesn’t sound overweight to me, one of my boars is just shy of 1.5 kg and he’s not fat, just a large pig.

That's a big boy, my boar is 1.3k and a bit more, and isn't overweight either
