awe he's adorable :) He's a happy pig. My pigs do laps too when they are in their run and lots of little jumps. I think your pig is just a happy boy getting some exercise :)

woo that was good news to hear! Thanks, He is a lil fatty boy though lol.. He just loves to eat... Yeah he did that video and then he immideatly crashed, it was cute..

But i dont get this part.. For some reason When hes in that and I come up close He run away and hides and sometimes grinds his teeth.. If hes in his normal cage he doesnt really have much of an issue? Is that just because he doesnt know the surroundings well enough.. I have started to hand feed grass in there to get him used to my hand in there..

Thanks

:(|) he sure is happy, popcorning and looking into everything x)

Don't worry he's still getting used to you, maybe if you put some treats in the play pen with him and then when they're all gone, you go and offer the same thing, he'll already know that it's yummy. Each time you do this he'll get more confidence to come up to you and eat from your hand.
Good luck :)

he looks dead happy to me, how spesh! My two do this together for about 20 mins at a time its mental!

Dont worry this is normal and he looks like a happy piggie to me:) he will get used to you. All piggies need a settling in period. In time he will realise you are there to love him and provide him with a safe home and FOOD:)) give him time, then all of a sudden he'll be a confident boar. (the grinding of teeth is normal too.)

I have had him for 2 months now though.. SO i guess its just teh surroundings cause when he is in his normal cage there is no problem....

Aww he's lovely and looks so excited :) I wish my 4 girls would run around like that. Erin and Ena did when we first had them but they have now picked up bad habits from Eleanor and Eliza and just lay down and chill out mallethead

Thanks!

He runs around and then i mean crashses hes out lol its so cute, I shoudl have got a vid to post of him crashed but didnt think about it.. I'm still a fairly new Owner and just makign sure everything is ok.. At first he did not like this Pen, When I had put him in a while back he would try what he could to get out, Now he loves it... hes also like 80% potty trained in there, You can see that Green bin in there and he goes in there most of the time to use the bathroom! so nice.

Flora and romeo took about 3 months to properly settle into our house i was begining to get worried about them. So dont worry you'll get there love.

Why is grinding normal? I thought that was bad?

It depends on how much he's doing it. They often do it a bit without meaning more than that they're a little frustrated or hungry, but if they'e really angry then it's much louder and faster.

well he does it when i put him in his new pen even though hes very happy, I guess he just wasnted used to use putting our hands in there since its a new enviroment because when i hold him he is very happy, But he is a fatty lol very hungry all the time.. So that could be why

Cant figure this out though... Why when we try to pet him or get him out he runs away and\or starts grinding his teeth. To get him out we have to corner him and he seems to get really angry but once we get him out he is tottaly fine and loves being petted or laying on us.. I dont get as to why he does this?

They are generally not keen on being lifted - they don't like heights.

But its not just that, its even reaching in and petting him..

So heights huh? they dont like it, that kind amakes sense, We take him outside to brush him and put him up on the Deck rail and he lays there and sprawls out but doesnt try to run away, I guess cause he knows hes high up then?

Just today, I was downstairs, I came upstairs saw him walking around I started talking to him and as i got to the top of stairs cause he started to run and was grinding his teeth hard at me and running away. I just dont get why he does that.....

Anyone? does neone have an answer?
