As you all know I am going to Glasgow on Saturday we know why! Hehe. Well I have decided to leave Fred as I'm only going for a night and don't want to upset him! I will be leaving 6am on Saturday and will be back 11pm Sunday night. Do you think Fred will be ok If I stock up his food and water or should I get someone to go in and feed him? ?/

I would think it's better if someone could pop in Saturday evening / Sunday morning - otherwise although it's only 1 night, it's 2 whole days... just for peace of mind!

Yeah I was thinking that too, would be very upset if something bad happened! :(

I shall get my friend to pop in and feed him!

Why have you decided to leave Frederick behind, is it for convenience?

I would definately have someone come and check on him so he won't be lonely.

I would have to bring him if it was me but I am too soft. ")

To be honest he would probably be ok, but I know I'd be feeling very very guilty and very worried while I was away! I'd probably ask a trustworthy friend to go in for me and do the feeding, just so that I knew he wasnt going to be hungry or lonely for too long!

Puts your mind at rest, when you've got an important journey to make, you don't want to be stressing about anything else!

I've decided to leave Fred as I don't want to stress him out for a day! The girls have to be transported but he doesn't have to come and as I'm not going for long I thought it'd be wiser to leave him at home!

Well I am sure he won't mind you going without him when he knows what you have brought back for him! :<>

I am the same with all of my pets, they don't even bother I bet, it is us who worry! I am sure he will be fine with one little check up!

I max out at 36 hours leaving them alone as i panic the water bottle will break they will have no hay left etc etc they are always fine. But if you have someone who can pop in and pass some food over to fred i am sure he will appreciate it! try not to stress to much and enjoy your trip, it will all be worth it

I agree fred would probably rather stay at home if you are only away for a night!

ive left my rabbits alone from 1pm friday until 12pm sunday, gave them lots of food water etc and they were fine but if you have someone to come in and check on him that would be best just incase hes gobbled all his food.its a pity you cant put the phone in the cage and phone him up to check hes ok :))

I think it's wise decision to leave Fred at home whilst you go to pick up his ladies, he'll be much happier there. I also think it's a good idea to get someone to pop in to feed him.

We leave our boys from about 5pm Saturday evening till 12 noon on the Sunday about once a month but any more than that and I woould be stressing out.
