Is this toy OK?

When I bought hay on Wednesday I bought a toy for Barry. I just want to check if people think it's Ok to give to him? It's the Bar 'n' Bell which is 2nd down on the list:

I'm worried about bits coming off and hurting him what do you think?

It's a willow stick and frit twigs as far as I can read so looks like it will be fine if he chews bits off the balls at each end and you're worried just pick them up.
