Seth never nibbles fingers but Norm is a big nibbler, you couldn't call it a bite as there is no weight behind it, he kinda just grabs you with his teeth.... does anyone else have a nibbler? inbreeding

First few days Dutch had a quick nibble but I think it was trying to work out what my hand was! He is a very mouthy guinea, during floor time he usually just sits and pulls up the carpet!

yes my Fang likes to nibble. He sniffs 1st then tries to take a little bite. It's never hurt and he's never done it to cause harm.

but my Frank is a licker :))

Our piggie Gromit ( R.I.P ) used to enjoy getting his chin rubbed, he would nibble your fingers when he had had enough, never with any force, always gental, it almost tickled....:(|)

My 2 baby girl pigs are nibblers, I don't think they're doing it to be nasty I think Iup just a baby thing, but it hurts :( had some advice on how to stop them biting off people on here and it is helping but I still daren't let the kids hold them.

Rusty is! She'll be giving me kisses and then a little nibble here and there. Never hard enough to hurt, I call them love nips! x)x)

Peppa nibbles when she needs a wee. It took a few wet laps before i realized this.

Tiny genuinely mistakes fingers for food so we keep fingers clear of her mouth.. all of my others are licky pigs, no nibbles here!

most of my younger piggies will nibble and some have bitten (and i mean bitten, drawn blood etc) It hurts :0

I've tried holding them slightly differently so my fingers are well away from their teeth which helps but sometimes i think if they want to bite, they will!

Our Gnocchi used to nibble quite a bit and actually drew blood by biting my hubby's finger :( I was rather worried then, but he's just a baby and I don't think he actually meant to bite! I don't think he was used to having fingers near him! As he has got older he doesn't nibble at clothes anymore and licks at skin, I think he has learnt the difference between gnawing on food/toys and our skin, we now get piggy kisses from both the boys! We've just handled them lots and given them lots of cuddles and time to explore! Treats always help to reinforce good behaviour :-)
