Jemimah sporting an impressive scar and funky hairdo.
She is so much brighter, eating well, drinking from the bottle and making up for lost time with poops

Jemimah had her final check up and is doing well.
The herd is together again and all is well.........
Except that Merab also has ovarian cysts.
My vet did her research and spoke to another experienced piggy vet (found on the forum).
We have discussed the options and decided that the best way is to spay Merab too. I am more confident about this as she did a good job with Jemimah, she’s learnt more about piggy surgery, and has discussed spaying an older piggy with another more experienced vet.
Having also read @dannif_piggies thread on spaying a 6 year old I am happy that this is the best option for Merab.
We decided to wait until I get back from holiday in October so that I will be around for all the post op care.
Merab is asymptomatic so at the moment it is not critical. Hopefully that will remain the case.
