Hi
My pig has a wound on her back, so I took her to the vets and both pigs were treated for mites even though none could be seen under microscope. Treated with xeno I believe, this was Tuesday.
The pigs are still scratching as much as before. I can't bathe them I don't think, because of the wound. I thought the wound was them fighting, but the vet thinks it's overzealous grooming from the other one. Don't think the injured one could reach it particularly easily to do it herself.
The injured one, Daisy is also now rumblestrutting and doing a wired thing with her bum, a little bit like when dogs drag there bottoms along the ground, but only briefly.
Any ideas anyone?
Think it's back the vets anyway, but info would help!
