So harry & Lloyd had their health check at the vets today, he was very happy with their teeth, nails and feet. I mentioned they had been a bit itchy, both pigs in the same place, right between the front and back legs. There's no sign of fleas or mites, no bald spots or dandruff and I use the spot on flea treatment monthly. The vet reckons it could be the change in the weather. I've put some tea tree skin cream on Harry to see if it helps but any advice would be welcome. (They did mortify me by acting like they'd never had human contact before, wriggling and squeaking like banshees. Poor vet!)

Am I right in thinking one of them had a bald spot on their leg at one point? I could be getting confused with someone else though.

If the vet has ruled out fungal or mites I am not sure. Fungal can be caused by changes in the weather especially if it is humid.

What are they bedded on?

No they've no bald patches anywhere. Half their cage is woodshavings and half is fleece, they do prefer the woodshavings end and tend to sleep and pee there, the fleece is where they play. They've been out in the garden a bit more recently tho, it's just weird it's both in the Same place.
