My girlies are constantly itching :(

ive bathed them in Johnsons mite shampoo :(

ive invectermin drops on their neck :(

i think its the hay or woodchips - ive heard of static lice and mites being in hay and woodchips :(

itchy piggies - hard to stop - i try everything 8...:0

i check their coat and no bits or scurvy, cant see anything bad

their coats are shiny thick and healthy

no bald patches

I have a soft brush which i brush their coat every now and then

I try not to bathe them too much as natural oils need to be present

I dont know what to do about my itchy piggy wiggies mallethead?/
 
Try shaking out your hay a bit first. Wood chips aren't ideal at all for their bedding i'm afraid.
With the invermectin did you do the full course?
After i've used the brush on my girls i always wash that in hot soapy water and then rinse off throughly, just in case :)

i use woodchips for whole cage then hay is usually their bedding :( maybe I'm doing it all wrong :(
 
As Glynis has already asked - did you complete the full course of Ivomectin? How long between shampooing and treating with spot-on, which product did you use?

Are you dealing with the cage too? Reinfestation is common if the cage/furniture are not treated too.
