Poppy has been taking Itrafungol since Monday evening for Candida which is in her gut. Since she started taking it, I've noticed that she has become more irritable with our other piggy Lily and generally doesn't seem very happy. I'm also not sure when I should be seeing an improvement in her poos. Since she started the Itrafungol, some of her poos are a bit soft with a tail on. Are these common side-effects of Itrafungol?

I'm not sure if Poppy should stop taking it. Our vet isn't working today, so I'm unable to ask her for advice. Thank you.

I last used it a few years ago but as I recall there were no ill effects and I had 15 pigs on it at the time. Each pig is different though. Is she on any pain relief alongside it?

No she isn't taking any pain relief. She seems subdued as the Itrafungol is affecting her tummy. I spoke to a non-piggy vet on the phone this afternoon and she advised me to carry on with the Itrafungol. She is only taking 0.5ml once a day. I will give her some Pro C in a minute, hopefully that will help.
