Adult Guinea Pig
Well after 4 months all 5 boys have fallen out so it's going to be all change!
Twins George and Gerry are now living apart after a nasty fight. The plan was to get them both neutered and girl friends but the trio are now all unsettled aswell and I think introducing girls to the room is only going to make things worse.
Bob appears to of been unwell since we adopted him so we're only really seeing his true personality now he's feeling better (after worming) putting on weight and standing up for himself. He's clearly been feeling sorry for himself and now he's got his mojo back he's not the laid back piggy we thought he was lol
Bob and Spike appear to love each other. To start with they were always snuggled up together and Bob was often washing Spike's face. Hector has always been like the little teenage brother and is very lively and energetic and mounts Spike a lot. Him and Bob haven't really gelled, I thought Bob was the boss as Hector has never mounted him but there's been a far bit of teeth chattering and Hector keeps chasing Bob off. Spike just keeps eating
Bob and Gerry have been interacting a lot through the bars, lying either side so they're next to each other so I'm wondering if they might be a good match but I feel sad to split Bob and Spike up.
I can't imagine Hector with either George or Gerry and I can't leave him with Spike, he's beening hassled too much. I could probably see Spike and George together so that just leaves Hector!
I'm really worried about ending up with 5 single boys! My house isn't big enough!!
Do I risk starting two new pairings and finding a new partner for Hector or try Hector with George? (Hector and Gerry are both very dominant so I don't think they would be a good pairing and Gerry goes for him when he sticks his nose through the bars)
I'm worried Hector is too boisterous for George and may remind him of Gerry.
BOYS! What am I going to do with them all!
