I'm so happy to say that i have officially reserved Blade a beautiful super longhaired piggy from rescue!
he will be paired with a baby piggy from a member on here providing they still want to find him a home but if not i will take his silver rex mate Raja,I'm just so happy right now although a long wait ahead,at least a month as i want to let Zanzi and Baker settle in better first,just thought i would share my news:(|)x

lol it just keeps kind of happening lol,i made a statement a while ago about not enough piggies in this area,i think i may have jinxed myself,i am getting close to my limit,Tony and i decided that we will stop at 10,although after these next two i won't be looking for any,if the rescue has any particuarly special ones then i will,i have been keeping in close contact with them and think the next pair i will take maybe in a year or so will be special needs piggies,just because most people don't want them xxxxx

That kinda keeps happening to my gang too, you know. Maybe it is catching?!
 
Aw he's gorgeous congrats. And poor Rajah loosing an eye :( he's lovely too i love silver piggies! x

he is beautiful,i feel bad if i leave him beind so if i end up with this baby piggy i might just get him a friend and get Blade and Raja too{:|any excuse or more piggies,i figure if i have lots of love/time/facilitys to give them then why not offer it:)
 
:)) i like your thinking! Would be nice to keep him with his friend, especially if his friend only has one eye, he's less likely to find a home :( x

all those piggies arent officially up for rehoming,they are from her own collection of piggies,basically she has had people go through very strict adoption processes only to rehome them and find out people have bred them,there are a shortage of longhaired piggies here so people will do anything to get them so now the rescue lady just keeps them,among her lot she has longhairs/rare breeds/sick or disabled piggies,a few are up for rehoming through ACS members so she know they will go to the best homes but sh really seemed to love us when we got Zanzi and Baker and knows that we definantly arent breeders,i have made good friends with her so she is allowing me to take some of her special piggies,Raja is gorgeous I'm not sure i can resist him:)
she has a seperate section which is for the public and has mainly short haired piggies,she is particuarly worried about where Blade and Raja go as they were rehomed before and the girl doted on Blade but disliked Raja because he wasnt pretty enough apparently, so Lynlee will only rehome them if they get tons of love and care,i can't believe that though how could you love one piggy and not another

Oh that's so sad about them not liking Rajah :( oh i get it now, well either way at least you know he'll be loved! Would he be living on his own if you didn't take him though? sorry i'm a bad influence i'd have everyone with a house full of pigs if i had my way :)) x

hehe yeah piggies are great,no definantly not he would be paired with one of the mini's that have just come into rescue,although he just looks so needy how can i say no to that x
 
Aw well good luck deciding! Don't feel pressured though if he's going to have a lovely home and a friend either way :) x
 
They are beautiful but not nessecarily in need as they aren't really looking for homes they are long termers at the rescue so all of them have a spot if the very best homes can't be found,all i can say is thankgod for rescue xx
 
I bet you can't wait. It's gonna feel like forever!

Possibly adding a lady to the house now? :)

haha i wish,there is a piggy in there called Shiloh she is Blades sister and is just divine,if i could id love her but as you already know my house hold is dominated by boars lol,with these next to i will have 8 of them and could just imagine the fights if she was anywhere near the othersrolleyes
 
yes i know,my boars would have a frenzy with someone so pretty here lol,as much as sows are gorgeous i think with the amount of boys i have I'm better sticking to them or else i will have to get a bigger house so i can have a sow room,now thats an idea{:|
