Guinea Pig Land!
Hey guys,

I've taken this week off work, and I was hoping it wouldn't rain so I could put the guineas out in the garden as much as possible. But today I've woken up and its raining. So I was curious as to what some of you guys might do for your guineas when its raining...what contraptions you may have invented that they take hours sorting out/playing with, anything that stimulates there mind and amuses them.

If I could set up the run in the kitchen so they could run around I would, but I think my parents would throw a fit.

When it rains I go and get wet and collect grass ;D Leave it to dry near the radiator for a bit and feed it

Really? They love that eh? Awesome I'll do that....I think I'm gonna go Seapets and see if I can get them some enrichments for there cages.

The carpet is up in our living room now and there is literally nothing in it - no furniture, bare floorboards. The pigs are having a ball running around it.

I have brought the piggies in for a run around the hallway and they are popcorning away :smitten:

Awesome!

I went to Seapets and got them some things to chew on, they don#'t seem to be chewing them yet...but who knows!

Just a bit curious...does anyone give there guineas diluted Ribena as a treat sometime? Is it good for them?

Mine only ever get a tiny drop if they have Baytril to disguise the taste. Other than that I think it's got too much sugar and the sugar free one too much sweetener!

Why would you give ribena to a guinea pig?! I've never heard of that before!

My piggies are indoors anyway but love to get them outside but it aint gunna happen this side of spiring, I use my hallway as a run and put down hunnels and such like, they love it. But I have to ensure that all doors are left shut otherwise they get in the kitchen and Tommy tends to hide behind the the fridge freezer.
