Teenage Guinea Pig
Well it first started when I got my Abyssinian Bowie (approx 1 year).... The most adorable little piggie evverrr 
he used to live with my housemates dwarf lop rabbit- they were inseparable and loved each other very much. I then got Mercury my giant bunny (not realising he was giant) and Mercury was a meanie to Bowie and Waffles the bunny, so he was kept in a separate hutch (It's a good thing as he turned out to be huge!) I then went home from university at Christmas, so unfortunately Bowie had to say goodbye to his beloved friend... unfortunately permanently as I had to move out due to unforeseen circumstances. Mercury then went to stay with his nana and granda (my nana and granda too as I stay there in the holidays) who dote on him. I stayed at my boyfriends with Bowie and he wasn't the same.. he was very upset and it broke my heart to see him like that 
so we made the decision to get him a friend Hendrix (approx 9month) It was a little bit rough to start with as H is very timid and B is boisterous and noisy but after alot of rumblestrutting all was well! I was planning on leaving them with my boyfriend when I went back to study but I couldn't bear to leave them! and after 3weeks B and H moved in. Valentines day arrived, I woke up in the morning and Rob was nowhere to be seen! So I went downstairs.. A full english breakfast, a cuppa and... My beautiful Lennox a tri colour Abyssinian! Now that was hard to get them integrated! Lennox would fight Bowie and poor H would wimper, they were fine in wide open space but not in the cage. nights and nights passed, managing each night a bit of progress of waking up at 6am and moving lennox out of the cage.. Now they are all best of friends!
Last week I went to the local pet shop for supplies and seen 3 gorgeous babies- Pink eyed, white crested cross himalayas. I just couldn't resist, this one baby was just staring at me, it tugged at my heart strings- I needed her! So me and the boyfriend had a discussion- one more and thats it! I brought marley home, very shy and attached to me, she got on really well with Lennox and Bowie, but Hendrix the shy reserved quite wimpering one, took an instant dislike and and 'went' for her whenever she walked past. I tried so hard with them all but H was stuck in her ways... I gave M plenty of floor time with L and B but it wasnt enough for her and she was very reserved and quiet.. she just stared at the cage wall, and it was really breaking my heart, there was only so much i could do....
So I went to purchase straw and woodshavings today... and there she was, the last remaining sister... on her own... looking up at me... I then thought back to my poor marley back at home... and seen a solution for her, and thats when Zepplin came home! I have never seen such a burst of life come from such a little creature! she was popcorning when she seen her sister, wheeking the lot! it was adorable ax) and i cried my eyes out I was soo happy! I am sooo overwhelmed and happy Marley and Zepplin are reunited and that Marley is back to herself and full of life! So yes I have been naughty when I said I would stop at 4 and I didnt but seeing Marleys happy little face was worth it!:x):<>
