I just wondered how many people on here have joined and what they have got from it? I live In Bristol so wouldnt travel up that way very often so the worming etc would be no good to me would it? What do you actually get for your joining fee of 25 pounds? And the prescriptions could you send them to get the treatment cheaper?

Hi Dazie,

I am a member of the CCT and i too live to far to take my piggies there.
basically there isn't much you get from it if you do not visit them but if one of your piggies is very ill Vedra can arrange for someone to pick him/her up and taken them to the CCT. personally I joined because i think what vedra does is wonderful and she relies on donations + it makes me feel less guilty when I contact her for advice ::) although I have to say that she has always helped even before I was a member.

It's up to you but I think it's a good cause basically.

I am a member of the CCT and have taken a piggy there.I think Vedra is an exceptionally dedicated woman, who knows her stuff.I think being able to phone or email her with your piggy problems is worth its weight in gold.I have had some pretty bad experiences with vets and its great to know that Vedra is an expert on piggies.I would definately support her work.

We live close enough to take our piggies for three-monthly checks. She worms them and clips their nails, and offers some holiday boarding.
