You may remember this thread by NotFondOfCarrots (my son) http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=96512 .
We were all so very sad with the loss of Pickle (my son still can't bring himself to write on Rainbow Bridge Pets) :( and of course Branston was left on his own so he came to me and took residence in our herd room (aka the dining room & now relocated to my son's old bedroom, which seems fitting).
My little herd is Buzzy, Hogan, Eric & Ernie (last 3 are lovely Milhaven boys). Buzzy was supposed to buddy up with Hogan after he lost his great friend Woody but alas it didn't work out and they are living side by side but separate, so I started bonding Hogan with Branston...... and I'm so happy to say it's worked! :)
They look so alike they could be brothers and are now best of friends and what's great is they sit together with Buzzy snuggled on the other side of the grids from them and wheek and burble away at each other! :) I know NotFondOfCarrots misses Branston & Pickle very much but is happy that Branston has a new friend.

Hogan(mostly white) and Branston getting aquainted in a neutral cage after their buddy bath.

Ha ha, you'll be reading all his post with a different eye now! :))
I used to post under his username but then branched out on my own (see this thread http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=82429)

I'm a very lucky mum with two great lads and am very excited that 'Carrots' is getting married at Christmas (telling all his news to everyone again....it's what mums are for!) :)

Wonderful photos x)

Mam, is nothing sacred?! :))

I'm so happy and pleased that little Bransty pig has not been by himself. Losing Pickle was very difficult, and especially as he was so up and down - giving us all hope - the last thing my OH and I wanted was for Branston to then suffer.

We do miss him dearly, but I'd rather he was happy - and he seems very happy with Hoagy and the other chaps in the herd room.

You've done a fab job getting them bonded, Now we just need a friend for Buzzy!

Oh, and I did warn you about Branston's paper fancying. He just loves tearing it up!

....and weeing on the bare correx rolleyes but he is such a happy, inquisitive little man, 'chut chuting' all day, he's a pleasure to have and Hoagy loves being with him! :)

I'd love to get a friend for Buzzy but he does seem content and happy and was popcorning all over the place this morning (plus he has his food to himself!) :))

......and of course nothing is sacred! :))
